Reading reveiws for a long time I came to conclusion this is the best webcam novadays. The images taken with this webcam can be printed as standard photos without noticable artifacts and in everyday blogging activities or creating tutorials or YouTube videos it is also more than good. It has resolution of TRUE 1280×1024 pixels which is the highest resolution webcam on the market at this point. The down side is that the image sensor is CMOS…
Technicalities
…CMOS sensors do not behave too good in low-light conditions. It you want to be able to make good recordings in low light conditions, look for cameras with CCD image sensor. If the manufacturer menitions VGA sensor, it is again the CMOS but with resolution of only 640×480
CCD cameras are much more expensive, and it does not always improves picture quality.
For using this camera you need PC with USB 2 interface, Windows Vista of XP operating system (W2000 is not supported). It has a built-in mic with noise free audio recording capability.
Cameras field of view is 72 degrees, which categorizes it in wide lenses.
Problems:
The day I bought it I thought returning it to the store because there was something like blue dead pixels on the image. But than I borrowed another VX6000 and the same was here. The blue dots disappear when the light situation is good, but if you record with only laptop screen light, you will notice blue dots on the screen. I kept it at the end, because as said, there is no better camera in the market for this money and at this time. Manual light sensitivity does not work as it is supposed to…
